Dine and Shine #TGIF !!

Fridays are good days to hop around places and try new things, maybe that's why the term "TGIF" came in existence. Welcoming the relaxing weekend always gives a good feeling and Fridays are meant for that.

Visiting new places, trying different cuisines and celebrating weekends have always been our (me and my husband, Ankit) favorite pastime. This week it was our turn to pay a visit to Nina's, the place we always wanted to be in.

Café Nina

Standing peacefully and with a lovely adornment of lights during evenings, Nina's is sure to lure the passers by. And so were we.

Moving inside the restaurant we struck side by side by a lady who was hosting people. I felt she was one of the friend's of the customer who had entered the restaurant along with us. (After returning home I googled her and found she was the restaurant owner Nina herself).

The cafe has a good ambience. The furnishing was good with some unique messages/placards posted.

We were hosted well by a guy taking orders and telling every detail of the food we wanted to order. With a help of little recommendation from him for the vegetarian food we ordered Spaghetti and Crêpe. We didn't know about Crêpe and his review helped a lot. We could actually visualize the food with the help of the description of its recipe he made. Both the food items were served within 10 minutes.

The food items where enough to suffice our tummy. With service charge and VAT each food item costs turn to be NRs 497.

You never are left out with messages in Nina's it felt. The restroom too bore a message ;-)

Hence was Nina's trip. At the end for some reason it felt cold while we left the restaurant that the owner never spoke a word or even bid with a smile. Was the smile just kept for known people? Or some certain groups or what? I don't remember leaving a restaurant with that feeling that Nina's gave.

With less choices for vegetarians and that coldness as we left the place, we felt Nina's deserve a 4****

Metta!
