As you grow older, you will realize that
you are Unique.
When you are little, all kids, want Ice
cream and Spiderman. As you grow older to college, you still are a lot like
your friends. But ten years later, you realize that you are unique. What you
want, what you believe in, what makes you feel, may be different from even the
people closest to you. This can create conflict, as your goals may not match
with others. And you may drop some of them. Basketball captains in college
invariably stop playing basketball by the time they have their second child.
They give up something that meant so much to them. They do it for their family.
But in doing that, the spark of living life dies.
As I remembered and turned over these words of Mr.Chetan
Bhagat, I really felt at ease.
In fact its true- that time, circumstances and priorities
stand by you first, but nevertheless it's you who is responsible for what you
do and what comes up to be yours finally. Its just you and nobody else in the
world who is gonna suffer-by, when you happen to make choices without using your
full conscience.
Must say, rather than turning back after moving over a long
way in the hectic journey of life with remorse and regrets and probably what
didn't happen as you had thought of kind of thing, you should definitely love
and live the way you wished for.
LIVING Life and COMPROMISING with Life is indeed two sides
of a coin. No two can exist at the same time and LIVING is a beautiful and
worthiest expression indeed. At least No-Regretful life and a Smiling You till
the end is what that matters...else who cares...:)
Metta !!
